I am excited and anxious for the gradual re-opening phases of Massage Therapy as Government has given us a green light to begin to navigate the new normal. It has been almost 3 months of not being able to treat clients! This has been a confusing time for many. Like most of you, a rainbow of emotions have been felt since March 16, 2020. I have been busy gardening, sewing some masks and keeping on top of my studies... Yes! I know how to have fun! (nerdy side of me) My studies switched to online, which is good practice for me, since now, in order to re-open I have many online public health learning modules required to take - more fun! I have also bought the required new disposable PPE to wear (a fresh one for each client!) and I have reduced the client numbers I book, for the safety of clients and therapists; I have sent out emails to clients to give notice of this upcoming gradual opening and I have updated the fees page. There are many new strict protocols to follow, given by Ministry of Health and the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. I am excited to see clients again and anxious as well since the proximity of this work also has certain risks attached to it. This is a new learning roller coaster for everyone. I appreciate your encouraging words and continued business. I have a few more things coming down the pipeline to add to the services and am quite excited about the additional value it will give, but it is still a few months away. I will keep you posted! Until then, enjoy this amazing sunshine that we have this weekend!. Yours in Health, Heather
