Happy Thanksgiving. I am thankful.
It feels like it has been a long year! From healing up from surgery in the New Year to studying during most of my spare time for my Osteopathy schooling... now, I am taking my own advice to decompress and recharge my batteries by taking some time off. The busy season is approaching, and I need to rest, recharge, and be ready for the final months of 2023... ! I am happy and proud of my hard work and efforts in passing my exams, which is phase one of the hurdles to jump through to become an Osteopath. My next hurdle will be creating a proposal and doing my research project as well as spending some hours in the student clinic at the Canadian College of Osteopathy. I have never run a marathon, but I have a good idea of what it feels like just by committing to this program. From the long duration that feels like forever to hitting "the wall" near the end while I had to buckle down to study - and trust me, I am that person who finds distractions and reasons to procrastinate so easily. So, I am very proud of my accomplishment. :) If you have any questions about what I am learning, please send an email or book in for a Craniosacral Therapy session. (Craniosacral therapy is a small part/technique of Osteopathy) NEWS - I have a new RMT added to Willowhill Wellness and Massage. Her name is Lindsay Leduc. She is a local and a veteran RMT. I feel that she will be a great addition to the space and I look forward to working with her. Lindsay has been a colleague and a friend for many years, so this is a very warm welcome to her.
